Component references & manufacturing details

Custom metal brackets and welded subassemblies
Provide CAD/drawing revision, installation datum points, weld expectations, material/finish, pilot quantity and engineering approval plan.

Customized rack parts and branded kits
Specify which features can change, which interfaces must stay fixed, component BOM, artwork ownership, packaging approval and tooling arrangements.
Confirm the actual interface and sample for the selected product. Structural, recovery and road-use requirements need the appropriate technical evidence. Prepare application data →
Samples & Quotation
What to include
Send part references or drawings, quantities per item, the intended application, destination and any branding or packaging requirements.
Mark undecided details as questions. A short first inquiry is enough to start.
What the quotation confirms
The offer identifies the product version, kit contents, MOQ, unit price, sample or tooling charges, production timing and delivery basis for your request.
Sample approval, fitment evidence and any required technical review are agreed before production.
Use one part reference and revision for the quote and sample. Sample review checklist · RFQ templates
Other Ways to Work with LedgeGear 4×4
For original designs or product changes, discuss an OEM/ODM brief. If you need supplier research or help with an existing supplier, commission the support stages you need.
How is private labeling different from changing the product design?
Separate logo, label and packaging changes from changes to geometry, material, fitment or assembly. Ask the manufacturer which parts of the request use its existing product and which need engineering, tooling or a new sample. Compare development charges separately from the recurring unit price.
What should a drawing-based quotation identify?
Record the drawing and CAD revision, material, finish, quantity breaks, included hardware and sample scope. Ask the factory to list deviations and unresolved dimensions in its offer. Keep proposed manufacturing changes attached to the quoted revision so they can be approved deliberately.
