Specification Options
Dimensions, Materials & Fitment
- Truck model, model year, cab configuration and measured bed length
- Bed-rail profile, liner, tailgate and existing rack interfaces
- Panel or shell material, finish, seal layout, opening style and locking method
Branding & Order Configuration
Define the cover or canopy version, finish, included fittings and packaging you want quoted. For a custom project, add drawings or clear interface measurements, target quantities and any branding requirements.
Fitment & Application
One truck name can cover several bed lengths and rail arrangements. Start with the exact model year and bed configuration, then check the cover or canopy together with the liner, tailgate and any existing rack or drawers.
Bed rails, clamps & opening clearance
Record rail sections, clamp access, tailgate travel and the space needed to fold a panel or open a canopy door. Include close-up photos of factory rails, liners and installed accessories.
Sealing, drainage & complete kit contents
Agree the seal paths, drain routing, latch adjustment and sample water-ingress checks. List rails, brackets, clamps, fasteners, keys, instructions and protective packing as part of the quoted configuration.
Samples & Quotation
What to send
Send the truck model/year, bed length, destination and estimated quantity. Add a reference cover or canopy, a preferred opening arrangement and photos or drawings of the mounting interfaces.
What the quotation sets out
Ask for the identified product version, kit contents, quantity per variant, MOQ, unit price, sample or tooling charges, production timing and delivery basis. Agree the sample approval stage and any further fitment review before production.

Working with LedgeGear 4×4
For an original design or product change, discuss an OEM/ODM brief. Supplier research, quote comparison and existing-supplier follow-up can also be scoped as commissioned support.
Can a cover or canopy work with an existing bed rack?
Compatibility depends on the rail profile, rack feet, clamps and opening travel of the selected products. Share the same bed and accessory references with each supplier so interference can be checked together. Agree any roof-load requirement and supporting evidence separately.
What should be checked on the sample?
Review the mounting kit, panel or door movement, latch access, seal contact, drain routing, surface finish and packed dimensions. Record the approved version and any changes before releasing the production order.
Can different truck models be included in one inquiry?
Yes. List each model, year range, bed length and quantity as a separate line. Ask the supplier to identify the correct pattern, mounting kit and sample requirement for each variant.
