Shocks, links & spring-related components
Define axle load assumptions, installed travel, top and bottom mounts, suspension configuration, geometry and a test plan. Suspension assemblies require qualified validation.

Reservoir shock packaging & brackets
Document hose routing, heat exposure, mount footprint, surrounding parts and service access. Compare assembly and installation drawings, not just outer appearance.
Confirm the actual interface and sample for the selected product. Structural, recovery and road-use requirements need the appropriate technical evidence. Prepare application data →
Samples & Quotation
What to include
Send part references or drawings, quantities per item, the intended application, destination and any branding or packaging requirements.
Mark undecided details as questions. A short first inquiry is enough to start.
What the quotation confirms
The offer identifies the product version, kit contents, MOQ, unit price, sample or tooling charges, production timing and delivery basis for your request.
Sample approval, fitment evidence and any required technical review are agreed before production.
Use one part reference and revision for the quote and sample. Sample review checklist · RFQ templates
Other Ways to Work with LedgeGear 4×4
For original designs or product changes, discuss an OEM/ODM brief. If you need supplier research or help with an existing supplier, commission the support stages you need.
Can a lift-component request start with the vehicle model alone?
It can start a conversation, but a useful manufacturer brief also identifies model year, trim, drive type, factory suspension and existing modifications. Describe the intended use and added equipment. Ask which part references and installation information the supplier needs before proposing a kit.
How should suspension quantities be written in an RFQ?
State whether the price is per piece, pair, axle or complete vehicle set. List the included brackets, links, fasteners and other supplied components. Identify left and right items where relevant so the sample and production quotations can be compared on the same kit basis.
