Winch installation & recovery interface
Define winch envelope, electrical routing, fairlead position and anchor interfaces. Any load-bearing claim requires appropriate engineering and test evidence.

Recovery mounting plates & bracket sets
Document bracket thickness, fastener grade, hole layout, vehicle frame details and the intended load path. Do not accept unverified pull ratings.
Confirm the actual interface and sample for the selected product. Structural, recovery and road-use requirements need the appropriate technical evidence. Prepare application data →

Other Ways to Work with LedgeGear 4×4
For original designs or product changes, discuss an OEM/ODM brief. If you need supplier research or help with an existing supplier, commission the support stages you need.
Should a recovery kit and a winch-mount project use the same brief?
Keep the individual components and their intended connections visible. List the winch, mounting plate, fairlead, fasteners, recovery accessories and storage items separately, including any items supplied by the buyer. Ask the responsible technical reviewer to assess the proposed system and intended use.
What should you ask about a claimed recovery rating?
Request the identified product version, test method, conditions, mounting arrangement and supporting report. Ask who issued the evidence and what configuration it actually covers. Do not transfer a rating from one component to an entire assembly or a different installation without an appropriate review.
